Gleeds is a leading global property and construction consultancy. Independent since 1875, we are proud to deliver award-winning projects around the world. We are an accredited Great Place to Work employer, with our people at the heart of everything we do.

Climate change and Sustainability is at the top of our agenda, we have been established within the energy sector for the past 40 years and have achieved significant growth in the past years as we contribute to a sector that will have trillions of pounds of investment over the next decade. Our teams are at the forefront of the change, managing life changing projects in Solar, Hydrogen, Nuclear, Renewables and Defence, and we want you to be part of that too.

We are looking for an experienced Power Apps Developer with an interest and experience in providing data analytic solutions utilising Power Apps and SQL to clients on major construction and infrastructure projects.

In this team you will play a crucial part in delivering and monitoring Energy programmes which are the most technical and complex challenges facing the UK today, helping us leave a safer environment for future generations.

Your day to day could sometimes involve:

  • Work closely with directors and project managers to define scope, technical requirements, success criteria and delivery plans.
  •  Elicit and translate business and technical requirements into data, integration and solution specifications.
  •  Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines and data models; own data quality, lineage and documentation.
  •  Build and operationalise predictive analytics and automated processes; ensure monitoring and maintainability.
  •  Develop high impact reports and self-service solutions using Power BI (data modelling, DAX, optimisation).
  •  Rapidly prototype and deliver business apps/flows with PowerApps and Power Automate.
  •  Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; prepare presentations and demo sessions.
  •  Support PMs and leadership by removing technical blockers, estimating effort and tracking deliver
  •  Engage with clients and internal stakeholders as required; provide consultancy input and recommendations.

However no two days are the same, we are a flexible team that support each other’s projects as well as getting in involved with wider business activities and we believe that variety is key to your development.
