This is a full-time opportunity working with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural difficulties, and additional learning needs. Working alongside the SENCO, class teachers, and pastoral team, you will deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils build positive relationships, develop emotional regulation skills, and access learning successfully.

• Encourage positive social interactions, resilience, and independence
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to behaviour reviews and intervention planning
• Promote a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour within a primary, specialist, or alternative provision setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism (ASD), or additional learning needs
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable pupils
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Team Teach or equivalent behaviour management training is desirable
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
