HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Nights Out

£14.28–£16.00 per hour | PAYE | Curtain Sider | Leeds (LS9)

Drivers Plus are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Day Driver with Curtain Sider experience to work for our prestigious client based in Leeds (LS9).

This role offers 2–3 shifts per week and involves nationwide deliveries with occasional nights out.

The Role

• £16.00 per hour
• £27.50 night-out allowance
• Monday–Friday operation
• 2–3 shifts per week
• Start time: 07:00
• Shifts are approximately 12 hours
• Approximately 1–2 deliveries per shift
• Delivering cabinets
• Cabinets will be rolled onto the tail lift
• Handball required
• Drivers will be required to secure pallets and strap curtains
• Drivers must be comfortable with night-out work

What We're Looking For

We are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Day Drivers who have:

• A minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Recent experience operating Curtain Sider vehicles
• Experience with load security, including strapping curtains and pallets
• A valid Category C Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• A recent employment reference
• Good communication skills
• A strong commitment to timekeeping, health & safety and professional standards
• Comfortable undertaking manual handling and night-out work
