Job Description:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children’s learning and development within a welcoming and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to promote positive behaviour and help pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant based in Liverpool, your daily duties will include:

Supporting individual pupils and groups to deliver intervention programmes and enhance learning outcomes.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and providing formative feedback to pupils.
Promoting positive behaviour and ensuring pupil safety in line with school policies.
Establishing positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:

A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
A commitment to promoting the ethos and values of the school, including its Christian foundation (applicants of other faiths are welcome).
Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding training.
