Shift Pattern: Days (08:00 – 18:30, including some weekend work)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering the first-class food and hospitality that Barchester residents rely on. Nutrition and wellbeing go hand-in-hand, and your work in the kitchen directly enhances the daily lives of every resident.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs.

• Help create a welcoming, enjoyable dining experience.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen area.

• Interact positively with residents and collaborate effectively with the wider care team.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a reliable, considerate, and caring individual who takes pride in high kitchen standards.

• Qualifications: No formal qualifications required!

• Experience: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or care home setting is beneficial, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude matter most.

• Key Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and a supportive, caring nature.
