We are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands on role involving planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery and equipment on site.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience within a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Technician role
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault finding skills
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic IT skills

Advantageous but not essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Lathe and milling machine experience
• 18th Edition electrical qualification
• CAD or SolidWorks experience
• Experience with automation or robotics

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across the site
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding on machinery and equipment
• Completing mechanical repairs and rebuilds
• Welding and fabrication work when required
• Assisting with machinery and equipment installations
• Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely
• Supporting maintenance records and documentation using the company maintenance system
• Working closely with production and other departments across the business
• Assisting with continuous improvement projects
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
