The Role

Property Manager– Science & Technology
Location:  Guildford
Asset: Science park
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits
Working Pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day from home

Madison Berkeley have partnered with a renowned institutional investor in the search of a Property Manager  to take ownership of a flagship science and technology asset in Guilford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of real estate and innovation, managing a high-spec lab-enabled facility as it grows into a key hub for cutting-edge research and development.

You’ll be stepping into a standalone role, taking over from an existing Property Manager as the asset transitions into its next phase of occupation. With 45,000 sq ft of lab space already in use and future occupier expansion planned, this is an ideal role for someone confident working independently and keen to shape operations on the ground.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Day-to-day management of a single-occupier science building
• Collaborating with an on-site engineer and managing contractors (cleaning/security)
• Engaging with current and prospective lab-based occupiers
• Overseeing service charge budgets, compliance, and building performance
• Supporting fit-out projects and managing future move-ins
• Implementing best-in-class H&S and sustainability practices
• Acting as the primary point of contact for all operational queries on-site

• A background in commercial property management
• Confident self-starter who enjoys working autonomously
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Hands-on approach to managing buildings and service providers
