Job Description:
Our client, a reputable Christian primary school in Liverpool, is seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join their team on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2027. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) within a nurturing and inclusive environment, contributing to their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant based in Liverpool, your daily duties will include:

Supporting a pupil with SEN to work towards their education and health care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
Building positive relationships with pupils, promoting independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
Assisting with behaviour management and supporting routines, transitions, and emotional needs.
Contributing to the planning and delivery of personalised learning activities aligned with EHCPs.
Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to monitor progress and adapt support strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will need:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
Experience working with children with SEN or in an educational setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health & safety, and GDPR.
First-aid training or willingness to complete it.
