Tax Manager

Rowland Recruitment is supporting a long-established and traditional firm of accountants in Croydon and is seeking a highly experienced Chartered Tax Advisor to join their team. As part of a larger group, the firm is navigating a period of change, requiring a professional who can manage private client tax services with precision and expertise. This office-based role offers the opportunity to work in a structured, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, specialising in inheritance tax, compliance, and planning
• Provide private client tax advisory services, including preparation and review of tax returns
• Deliver expert advice on inheritance tax strategies and planning
• Ensure full compliance with UK tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients
• Collaborate with partners to deliver tailored tax strategies

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified CTA/ACA/ACCA with extensive private client tax expertise
• Proven experience in inheritance tax planning and compliance
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax regulations
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a structured, office-based environment
