About the Role

Associate Director – Residential Sales

North London

We’re recruiting for an experienced residential estate agent to join a highly regarded, well-established property business as an Associate Director within its North London residential sales team.

This is a strong opportunity for an established valuer, lister, Sales Manager, Assistant Manager or senior residential agent who wants to step into a more senior position with a recognised and respected property brand.

The role is focused on generating and winning new instructions, developing relationships across the North London market and helping to grow local market share. You’ll remain commercially involved throughout the sales process and act as a senior presence within the office.

Package

• £35,000–£40,000 basic salary

• £4,000–£5,000 car allowance

• £7,000–£10,000 expected commission in year one

• Significant scope to increase earnings in year two and beyond as your pipeline, instructions and local market presence develop

Year one is very much about establishing yourself within the patch and building a strong pipeline, so the longer-term earning potential is considerably higher than the initial OTE suggests.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out market appraisals and winning residential sales instructions

• Proactively generating new business across the North London market

• Developing strong relationships with vendors, buyers and prospective clients

• Converting valuations into instructions through strong advice and consistent follow-up

• Agreeing sales and remaining involved throughout the transaction

• Helping to increase the company’s profile and market share locally

• Working closely with negotiators and the wider residential team

• Delivering a high level of client service throughout the sales process

• Acting as a senior, experienced presence within the office

• Identifying opportunities across the wider business and client network

Who we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need to already hold an Associate Director title.

This could be an excellent next step for a strong:

• Sales Manager

• Assistant Manager

• Senior Valuer

• Lister

• Associate

• Experienced Senior Negotiator with proven listing experience

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate:

• A successful background in residential estate agency

• Experience carrying out valuations and winning instructions

• Strong commercial awareness

• A proactive approach to generating new business

• Good knowledge of the North London market, or experience in a comparable London patch

• Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills

• Confidence dealing with vendors at all levels

• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to the wider team
