Location:  Secondary Schools across Denbighshire Daily Rate:  From £172.98+ per day Hours:  8:30am – 3:30pm | Monday to Friday Contract Types:  Day-to-Day, Medium-Term & Long-Term Opportunities (Term-Time Only)

The Role:
As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in engaging and inspiring pupils across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5), delivering high-quality Science lessons that spark curiosity and promote scientific thinking.
Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Science lessons using pre-set plans where provided
Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Encouraging curiosity, investigation, and critical thinking within Science subjects
Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Providing constructive feedback and supporting pupil progress
Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willingness to register
Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science)
Confident classroom management and excellent communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability across different school environments
