Flourish Education are recruiting a Music Teacher to join a high-performing Secondary School in Aldridge, Walsall. This is a superb opportunity to join a school with a thriving extracurricular music program, excellent facilities and a supportive creative arts faculty.

Our partnership school is seeking a creative and adaptable Music Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering performance, composition and listening. Involvement in ensembles, choir and school productions would be warmly welcomed.

You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including but not limited to planning, preparation, assessment and marking.

This role is full-time and the position is to start as soon as possible and will continue to the end of the academic year.

Required Skills and Experience as a Music Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Music, also suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
• Previous experience teaching Music or Performing Arts at secondary level
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and GCSE Music assessment requirements
• Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students
• A commitment to delivering engaging lessons and supporting the wider musical life of the school

• Pay: £174.71 to £240.72 day rate which equates to £34,069 per annum to £46,940 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year (dependent on experience)
