Maths Teacher

Flourish Education are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to work within a Secondary School in Worcester. The school is dedicated to providing students with a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment and has high expectations for behaviour, achievement and student development.

We are working closely with our partnership school to find a dedicated Maths Teacher who can confidently deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will support students in developing their mathematical knowledge and understanding, while preparing them for their GCSE examinations.

The role is available to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Key responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE Maths examinations.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student development.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour within the classroom.
• Develop positive relationships with students and encourage confidence in Maths.
• Work collaboratively with the Maths Department and wider school team.

What we are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Good understanding of the National Curriculum and GCSE Maths specifications.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A genuine commitment to supporting the education and development of young people.
