Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Standard Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Alternative Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm when required to meet business needs
Overtime: Approximately 5 Saturdays between now and Christmas
Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

About the Role

Sure Start Staff are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Packing & Rework Operatives to join a well-established and growing giftware and homeware business based in Chadderton.

This is a hands-on warehouse role working within a friendly and supportive team. You will be responsible for packing, repacking and reworking products, ensuring items meet the company's quality standards before being dispatched to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack a wide range of giftware and homeware products ready for dispatch

• Carry out product rework, repacking and preparation when required

• Check products carefully to ensure they meet quality standards

• Ensure products are packed securely and correctly according to company specifications

• Label and prepare finished goods for dispatch

• Identify damaged, faulty or incorrectly packed products and report them appropriately

• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised packing area

• Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines

• Support the wider warehouse team during busy periods

• Follow company procedures and Health & Safety requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in:

• Warehouse work

• Packing

• Production

• Rework

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.

The successful candidate will also have:

• Excellent attention to detail

• A high level of accuracy

• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality

• Good organisational skills

• A reliable and hardworking approach

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Flexibility to work both shift patterns

• Willingness to work overtime during busy periods

• Availability to work approximately 5 Saturdays between now and Christmas
