Location: Gateshead

Rate: £ 9.50 p/h

We are currently looking for a parcel sorter/warehouse operative to commence work immediately in the team valley trading estate area on a full time or part time basis.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a warehouse previously using warehouse scanning software and must work well in a fast paced environment. Due to warehouse insurance policies, we can only consider candidates that are over the age of 18.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Duties will include scanning parcels and allocating them to the correct containers ready for dispatch, offloading containers and manual handling of inbound and outbound parcels, and keeping the warehouse clean and tidy. Weight of the parcels vary as this is a national parcel delivery service.

The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 0600-1000 or 1100-2000.

We have an immediate start available for this position. This is a long term role with the potential to become permanent for those who work well and prove reliability.
