Tax Litigation Associate

We are working with a highly regarded London law firm looking to recruit a junior Associate into its specialist Tax Litigation practice. This is an excellent chance to join a growing team, working closely with a recognised tax disputes partner and experienced senior lawyers within a well-established practice.

The team advises corporate and UHNW clients on a broad mix of contentious corporate and personal tax matters. These include HMRC investigations and enquiries (including residence and domicile), VAT, employment tax, CGT and IHT disputes, suspected tax fraud, disclosures, penalty disputes, customs and excise matters and alternative dispute resolution. You will also gain exposure to civil and criminal tax investigations and to matters before the Tax Tribunals and UK courts.

Applicants should ideally have between one and three years’ PQE and some experience of tax disputes. Experience of tax investigations or Tax Tribunal matters would be useful, but is not essential.
