Key Responsibilities

·      Assemble and wire electrical switchgear and electromechanical equipment

·      Work from engineering drawings, wiring schematics and technical documentation

·      Carry out mechanical assembly and component fitting activities

·      Complete electrical testing and inspections

·      Identify and report faults, defects or non-conforming components

·      Support site modification and maintenance activities where required

·      Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment

·      Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets

What We're Looking For

·      Previous experience wiring and assembling electrical control panels

·      Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

·      Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

·      Experience assembling mechanical and electromechanical systems

·      Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

·      Ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable Experience

·      Experience within LV/MV switchgear manufacturing

·      Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

·      Previous site installation or field service experience

·      Familiarity with RAMS

As a Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler, you will build and wire electrical assemblies from engineering drawings and schematics while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
