Management Accountant

Management Accountant, Permanent , £40,000-£45,000, Nuneaton, On-site Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Management Accountant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent Excel skills, and wants to develop their accounting experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing monthly management accounts for the group companies
Posting journals, accruals, prepayments, and overheads
Producing clear variance and performance analysis
Supporting the preparation of board reports, dashboards, and management statistics
Processing monthly payments
Managing overhead invoices, expenses, credit card transactions, and weekly supplier payments, including VAT submissions
Daily cash flow monitoring and bank reconciliations
Updating weekly financial KPIs
Providing ad-hoc financial analysis

The ideal candidate for the role

Demonstrable experience in a similar finance or accounting role
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manipulate data efficiently
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance colleagues
Experience using Sage and strong Excel skills

Desirable (but not essential)

AAT / ACCA / CIMA
