We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team in Preston (PR3), Lancashire.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children with complex needs within a fully integrated education, care, and clinical environment. You will play a vital part in helping young people aged 8 to 18 years develop essential skills for life in a nurturing and innovative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant based in Preston, your daily duties will include:

Supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated complex needs in their learning and development.
Assisting teaching staff in delivering tailored educational programmes and activities.
Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive environment for all students.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will need:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs / LD / Autims is desirable.
Mandatory compliance with DBS checks and reference verification in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices.
