About the role
Higher‑Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Locations: Swansea Pay: £100-110 per day Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Hoop Education is seeking experienced Higher‑Level Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs across South Wales.
Your Role:
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small‑group ALN support
Assist with lesson planning and delivery
Create a safe, engaging learning environment
Support classroom organisation and resources
Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs
Requirements:
Level 6 TA qualification or HLTA status (essential)
Experience supporting pupils with ALN
Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
