Purchase Ledger Administrator

I am working with a key client in the Ramsey area to find a temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their small, friendly finance team on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger experience and, in particular, good working knowledge of SAGE. The role would suit someone who is organised, has excellent attention to detail and is confident managing their own workload while working as part of a close-knit team.

The position is initially for 3 months, although there is potential for the role to develop into something longer term for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
• Providing general support to the wider finance team as required

About you:

• Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
• Good working knowledge of SAGE is a must
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your own workload
• A team player who enjoys working in a small, friendly finance team
• Ideally available to start within the next two weeks

• Location: Ramsey
• Hours: Part-time or full-time applicants considered
• Duration: Initially 3 months, with the potential to become longer term
• Working arrangement: Fully site-based due to the nature of the business
• Start date: Ideally within the next two weeks
• Hourly rate £15.00 per hour
