Live In Care Assistant (Complex Care)

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Live In Care Assistant to support dedicated one-to-one care packages in East Sussex.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering a unique 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off working pattern, making it ideal for candidates seeking a healthy work-life balance. During your working rotation, you will have your own private bedroom within the client's home.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality one-to-one complex care within the client's home.
• Support the individual with their daily clinical and personal care needs.
• Follow personalised care plans and clinical protocols.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and adhere to safeguarding policies.

Essential skills & experience:

• PEG feeding competency.
• Acquired brain injury.
• Spinal cord injury.
• Bowel management/care.
• Medication administration
• Manual handling competency.
• Previous experience delivering complex care in a homecare setting.
• Minimum 1 year's UK care experience in a similar role.
• Valid Enhanced DBS (issued within the last 12 months or registered with the DBS Update Service).
• A compassionate, professional, and confident approach to delivering person-centred care.
