Job Title - Hire Controller

Location - Ossett

Working Hours - Mon - Fri, 07:30 - 17:00

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller plays a vital role at the heart of our operations, delivering excellent customer service while supporting the smooth running of the hire process. Building strong relationships is key to success, as the Hire Controller manages the entire hire journey — from taking the initial order through to delivery and collection. You’ll work closely with every part of the depot to ensure customer requirements are met, expectations are exceeded and our customers receive a first-class service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based and work closely with colleagues across the depot. You’ll regularly liaise with stock teams, drivers and engineers to coordinate equipment, minimise delays and ensure everything is in place to meet our customers’ needs. With plenty of communication and collaboration, no two days will be the same.

• Strong organisational skills
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written
• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to learn, develop and grow within the role
• Driving license
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or a similar sales or operational role
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
