Job Introduction

Looking for a warehouse role that actually works around your life, not the other way around?

At Bigham's, we know that having time outside of work matters. That's why our Friday to Sunday day shift pattern is one of the most attractive around, giving you Monday to Thursday off every week. Whether it's spending more time with family, pursuing hobbies, studying, or simply enjoying a better work-life balance, you'll have four weekdays free while earning a competitive salary.

You'll be joining our Logistics team in a chilled, modern warehouse environment, helping keep our kitchen running smoothly as we prepare high-quality meals for customers across the UK.

If you've got warehouse experience, enjoy a hands-on, fast-paced role, and want to be part of a team that takes pride in delivering great work, this is much more than a typical warehouse job. It's an opportunity to build a career with a company recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces.

Main Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be a key part of keeping our kitchen running smoothly in a chilled environment. This is a hands-on role where your work directly supports getting our meals out to customers.

You’ll be:

• Receiving goods and booking in deliveries
• Replenishing stock for production teams
• Picking and preparing orders
• Wrapping and loading goods for dispatch
• Supporting smooth shift handovers
• Working at pace to hit daily targets as part of a team

The Ideal Candidate

What we’re looking for

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment
• A proactive, reliable approach with good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused setting

A forklift or reach truck licence is desirable, but not essential — we’ll support training where needed.

Why Bigham’s?

We don’t offer “a warehouse job” — we offer:

• Better shift patterns than most local employers
• Higher earning potential
• More time off built into your rota
• A team that genuinely takes
