Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AI SaaS)

A well-backed core business systems tech scale-up based in Central London, building AI-powered workforce software for fast-growing businesses. Strong product culture, lean team, and a genuine focus on solving real problems.

The Role

Two senior engineer positions available. You will work across a small, autonomous product squad with no dedicated product manager, engineers and designers share that responsibility collectively. Expect broad scope, high ownership and the ability to ship from day one.

These are not squad-specific hires. The expectation is adaptability: moving across product verticals as needs and interests evolve.

Key Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end features across Front End (React, TypeScript) and Back End (Node.js, Postgres, Redis, GCP) owning them through to production.
• Share product management responsibilities within the squad: understand the problem space, shape the solution, and drive delivery.
• Navigate the final stages of shipping, including gaining consensus and closing out open threads.
• Contribute to integration and platform work as the product evolves.
• Feed into architecture decisions and raise the engineering bar within the team.

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript fundamentals (non-negotiable baseline).
• TypeScript and React experience
• Full-stack capable at senior level, comfortable across both Front End and Back End.
• Experience with a mainstream cloud platform (GCP preferred; AWS or equivalent equally considered).
• Proactive and self-directed: gains context fast, asks the right questions, and drives work to completion without handholding.
• Product-minded: applies engineering skill to real human problems rather than exploring technology for its own sake.
• Track record of shipping end-to-end in a product-led SaaS or AI environment.
• Genuine commitment to the hybrid working model (Mon, Tue, Thu in-office).
