THE ROLE

We have a new vacancy for a Senior Associate Insolvency Litigation Solicitor (7+ years PQE) to join a well established home counties office

This is a role for a talented and commercially minded insolvency senior associate solicitor to join a growing Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will advise a broad range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, large corporates, directors, shareholders, and high-net-worth individuals, on a variety of complex and high-value disputes.

The team often handles work referred from London and national practices where they are conflicted and has an extensive roster of Insolvency Practitioner clients.

This role offers exposure to a diverse caseload and the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and colleagues while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of the department.

The successful candidate will advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, creditors, directors, shareholders and businesses across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters.

The role will include handling all aspects of corporate insolvency including administration appointments (both in court and out of court appointments), all court applications under insolvency legislation, providing advice to IPs, secured lenders and directors

Handling claims from instruction to conclusion

Supervising, mentoring and developing junior solicitors and trainees

Supporting business development, networking and marketing initiatives

THE CANDIDATE

You will have 7 + PQE experience handling insolvency litigation

Strong technical knowledge of insolvency law and practice

Excellent communication skills

A motivated and positive attitude committed to delivering exceptional client service

High IT literacy
