MIG TIG WELDER – Ashton

Bennett Staff are currently seeking a TIG / MIG Welder to join our client based in Ashton under Lyne, Tameside. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• MIG / TIG Welding on mild steel.
• Fabricate, fit, tack and assemble parts to meet specifications.
• Accurately measure, mark, and cut.
• Read and interpret drawings and diagrams.
• Use hand and powers tools (grinders, sanders, drills) to cleaner weld splatter and polish finished items.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and wear required PPE and maintain a clean work area.

Working Hours:

• 8.00am to 4.30pm – Monday to Thursday
• 8.00am to 3.30pm – Friday
• 39hrs per week.
• Starting at £16.29 per hour
