Project Manager

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery on hyperscale data centre developments in Frankfurt. This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering the critical connectivity infrastructure that powers next-generation digital facilities.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of infrastructure packages from mobilisation through to testing, handover, and project closeout. Working alongside construction, MEP, commissioning, security and client teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Direct data centre experience is advantageous, but experienced professionals from structured cabling, or network infrastructure backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of fibre and telecoms packages across large-scale data centre projects.
• Manage installation teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist vendors.
• Ensure work fronts are fully prepared, including materials, permits, drawings, access arrangements, and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate closely with construction, MEP, commissioning, security, and network teams to maintain programme alignment.
• Attend and lead progress, coordination, client, and contractor meetings.
• Identify programme risks and site constraints, implementing solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
• Ensure all installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and approved design requirements.
• Oversee testing, inspections, defect management, as-built documentation, and final turnover packs.
• Support commercial activities including change management, progress tracking, reporting, and budget monitoring.

Requirements

Essential

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site-based delivery activities.
• Ability to engage effectively with construction, MEP, commissioning, IT, security, commercial, and client stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Experience on a Google project.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Desirable

• Data centre, hyperscale or mission-critical project experience.
• Experience working within technically complex or secure environments.
• Understanding of commissioning and structured handover processes.
