About the role

We are looking to appoint two compassionate, patient and committed Teaching Assistants to join our Resource Provision team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with significant communication and interaction needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual potential.

As a Teaching Assistant within our Resource Provision classroom, you will play an essential role in supporting pupils to develop their communication, social skills, confidence and independence. Every child’s journey is unique, and success can take many forms, whether that is using a new communication method, building positive relationships, engaging more independently in learning, or reaching a personal milestone.

Working alongside teachers, families and external professionals, you will provide tailored support that enables pupils to access learning and thrive both academically and socially. You will join a dedicated and highly supportive team that is passionate about inclusion and committed to ensuring every child feels understood, valued and successful.

This role is ideal for someone who finds fulfilment in making a meaningful difference to children's lives and understands that even the smallest steps forward can represent significant achievements.

Why Join Our Resource Provision Team?

  • Make a lasting impact on the lives of children with complex communication and interaction needs.
  • Experience the rewards of a role where every day brings new opportunities to support and celebrate pupil success.
  • Work alongside a skilled, supportive and experienced SEND team committed to collaboration and professional development.
  • Be part of an inclusive school community where every child is encouraged, valued and supported to achieve their very best.
  • Enjoy the satisfaction of helping children develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to flourish.

To recognise our employee’s contribution in delivering our vision and values, we offer an extensive range of rewards to support them to thrive and grow, including:

  • Membership of the South Yorkshire Pension Scheme.
  • Access to the VIVUP benefits website including cycle to work, car leasing and technology schemes and discounts on retailers, holidays, days out, etc.
  • Free flu vaccinations on request, discounted local gym and health club memberships and access to our employee assistance helpline for free and confidential advice including physiotherapy, and weight management.
  • Flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
  • Training and development opportunities.
