Registered Veterinary Nurse

Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, UK Moorgate Veterinary Group Our amazing Head RVN in Bovey Tracey, is going to be taking a back seat and going to part time to concentrate on his clinical nursing. So, we are on the look-out for another RVN (experienced) to be our *Nurse Manager* and take on the admin side of things.

This position is *part time* and would be to start in December. You would join our current team of 4 RVN's and 2 student nurses.

As an independent mixed practice we are proud to offer 24 hour care to our patients, so the role would include one night a week on call and you would join the 1 in 6 on call weekend rota.

Applicants should be efficient, dedicated and have excellent organisational skills, with a desire to deliver consistently great results. Duties will be varied and will include assisting the veterinary team with surgical and medical cases, as well as general nursing duties. The successful candidate will work with the nursing team towards expanding the practice’s current services in areas of expertise/interest – nurse clinics/anaesthetics/in-patient care. Clinical coach experience would be an advantage, but not compulsory.

You will be a proficient communicator, have a positive attitude and an excellent bedside manner.

*The position may suit someone who is looking to take a step away from clinical nursing and move to a more managerial role.*
