CARETAKER

Desian Education is working closely with a school across two sites and is looking to recruit a reliable, proactive and hands-on Caretaker to join the team as soon as possible.

This is a full-time opportunity with flexibility around working hours, making it ideal for someone looking for a role that can accommodate their individual needs. We are happy to consider a later start time for the right candidate, provided they are available to ensure the school is securely closed at 5:30pm each day.

Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general caretaker and site maintenance duties.
Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean and well maintained.
Undertaking basic repairs and reporting any maintenance issues.
Assisting with the setup and movement of furniture and equipment as required.
Ensuring the school site is secure and locked up at 5:30pm.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the school across two sites.

Has a flexible approach to working hours.
Can work independently and use their initiative.
Takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.
Is available to start ASAP.
