Nursery Manager

Job Description:

The UK’s leading childcare group seeks a dedicated Nursery Manager with a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education. As the Nursery Manager, you will provide professional leadership to ensure the efficient daily operation of the nursery.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and uphold high standards of quality within the nursery, ensuring a nurturing environment and stimulating experiences for all children.
• Oversee all administrative duties, including maintaining children’s records, ordering supplies, managing inventories, and maintaining personnel records.
• Facilitate regulatory inspections and implement recommendations to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure all staff are appropriately trained, including holding relevant first aid qualifications, to maintain compliance.
• Agree and meet occupancy targets through effective planning and management.
• Recruit, induct, support, train, and appraise all staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare.
• Foster friendly and professional relationships between staff, parents, and carers.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education
• Previous experience in a managerial role within a childcare setting
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in childcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
