The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Neurology Consultant to support a service in South East England.

This opportunity offers a locum contract within a Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 shift pattern, providing structured and consistent work within a hospital environment. It is well suited to candidates with experience in General Neurology, who are confident managing outpatient clinics and inpatient referrals while maintaining high standards of care.

You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day-to-day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality care within a Neurology service
• Conduct 5 general neurology outpatient clinics (8 new patients or equivalent per clinic)
• Undertake 1 inpatient liaison ward referral session (4 hours)
• Complete associated clinical administration duties
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and effective clinical environment

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• Relevant recent UK experience within Neurology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
