Job Description
We are recruiting for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Rotherham (S65).
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant who is confident leading classes, delivering planned lessons and running intervention groups to support pupils’ learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class learning activities and deliver planned lessons when required.
• Lead small-group interventions to support progress in English, Maths and other key subjects.
• Provide targeted one-to-one support to pupils who need additional help.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt learning activities to meet pupils’ individual needs.
• Work closely with class teachers to monitor progress and support learning objectives.

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience working in a primary school.
• Confidence leading whole-class activities and delivering lessons.
• Experience supporting pupils through one-to-one and small-group interventions.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
