Teaching Assistants Required – KS1 & KS2

Hours: Part-time and Full-time Opportunities Available
Focus: High SEND Needs

Provide Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a school in the DN7 area. The school is looking for both part-time and full-time staff to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on children with high Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

The Role

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of complex and high SEND needs.
• Support learning and development across KS1 and KS2.
• Work on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, depending on pupils’ needs.
• Support children with communication, emotional regulation, social interaction and independence.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities.
• Help maintain a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working with children in a school setting, ideally within KS1 or KS2.
• Has experience supporting pupils with SEND, including complex needs, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Is patient, compassionate, resilient and adaptable.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and support their individual needs.
• Is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
