Location: DN12
Position: SEND Provision Teacher
Hours: Part-time – 2 days per week
Days: Tuesday and Thursday

Provide Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Provision Teacher to work in a school in the DN12 area. This is a part-time opportunity, working two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will be committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing and engaging learning environment, adapting their teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils across all primary age groups.

The Role

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of SEND.
• Support children across all primary age groups within the school’s SEND provision.
• Adapt teaching approaches and resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, communication, social development and emotional wellbeing.
• Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, school staff and other professionals to support pupil outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary school setting.
• Is confident adapting lessons to meet a range of additional needs.
• Has strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Is patient, compassionate, flexible and enthusiastic.
• Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
