Cleaner

• Abbeygate Sixth Form College, Bury St Edmunds
• 10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Permanent
• Mondays to Fridays, 5pm to 7pm
• Pay rate: £12.99 per hour

We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic learning environment for students and staff. This role is essential in ensuring the college meets high cleanliness and health standards.

You will be responsible for cleaning designated areas of the college, following all relevant health and safety procedures. Your duties will include cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets, and communal areas, vacuuming and mopping floors, and responding promptly to spills when required. You will also be responsible for cleaning windows, replenishing supplies, and carrying out deep cleans as scheduled to ensure all areas of the college are kept to a high standard.

You will take responsibility for the safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment, report any maintenance issues, security concerns, or health and safety hazards to the site manager, and ensure that the building remains secure when occupied or vacant.
