Demolition burner

24-7 Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced Demolition Burner to work on a major demolition project in East London.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in demolition environments, particularly oxy-fuel cutting of structural steelwork and associated materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out oxy-propane cutting and burning operations safely and efficiently.
• Cut and dismantle structural steelwork as part of demolition activities.
• Work closely with the demolition team to ensure safe sequencing of works.
• Follow site-specific RAMS and hot works permit procedures.
• Inspect and maintain cutting equipment in accordance with site safety requirements.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Demolition Burner / Oxy-Fuel Cutter.
• Valid CCDO or appropriate CSCS card accepted by the principal contractor.
• Evidence of oxy-fuel cutting training and competency.
• Asbestos Awareness certificate.
• Good understanding of demolition site health and safety procedures.
• Full PPE and the ability to provide recent references.
• Right to work in the UK.
