With continued growth and a strong reputation for customer service, they’re looking for an experienced Solar PV Engineer to join their in-house installation team. The Role You’ll be responsible for installing, commissioning, inspecting and maintaining domestic solar PV and battery storage systems. Working primarily across the Home Counties, you’ll travel to customer properties, with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, deliver high standards of electrical installation and play a key role in a growing business committed to quality and customer satisfaction. What You’ll Be Doing * Installing, commissioning and maintaining domestic solar PV systems and battery storage solutions * Carrying out electrical inspections, testing and faultfinding * Diagnosing and resolving issues across existing installations * Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical regulations and industry standards * Completing installation documentation, test certificates and associated paperwork * Maintaining a professional approach when working in customers’ homes * Travelling between sites across the Home Counties, with occasional nationwide travel and overnight stays * Delivering safe, reliable installations while maintaining the company’s high standards of workmanship What We’re Looking For * City & Guilds Level 2/3 Electrical Installation or equivalent – essential * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent – essential * Proven experience installing and maintaining solar PV systems and battery storage – essential * Inspection and Testing qualification and experience – essential * Full UK driving licence – essential * Domestic Installer qualification or equivalent, enabling you to lodge your own building control notifications – desirable * Strong faultfinding skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship * A professional, customerfocused approach and the ability to work independently * Flexibility to travel across the region, with occasional overnight stays What’s On Offer * £50,000–£60,000 annual salary * Fully expensed company van * Performancerelated bonus * Opportunity to work with the latest solar PV and battery storage technologies * Join an awardwinning, MCS-registered renewable energy business * A stable, permanent position with a growing company * The opportunity to develop your expertise in a fastgrowing renewable energy sector If you’re an experienced electrician with a background in solar PV and battery storage, and you’re looking for a well-paid opportunity with a growing renewable energy business, we’d be interested in hearing from you.
