We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role would suit someone with a strong background in Sales Ledger who is confident managing sales order processing, invoicing, debtor management and resolving account discrepancies.

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to join a busy finance team. This role would suit someone with a strong background in Sales Ledger who is confident managing sales order processing, invoicing, debtor management and resolving account discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly sales orders, invoices and credit notes.
- Check timesheets and clock cards against hours sold.
- Match customer purchase orders to invoices.
- Maintain the Sales Ledger and manage aged debtors.
- Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies.
- Maintain outstanding sales order records.
- Liaise with customers, the Sales Team and Business Managers.
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.
- At least 5 years' experience in Sales Ledger, including sales orders, invoicing and debtor management.
- Excellent Excel skills are essential, including confidence working with spreadsheets and workbooks.
- Good knowledge of accounting systems; Exchequer experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
