Residential Paralegal
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days working from home and 2 days in the Cardiff office
About the Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Paralegal to join a well-established and respected legal firm based in Cardiff.
Due to continued growth and expansion, the firm is looking to appoint a motivated and organised Residential Paralegal with previous residential property experience to join its team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an established legal practice offering a flexible hybrid working model, a competitive salary and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing paralegal and administrative support to the residential property team.
• Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions, including sales and purchases.
• Preparing, reviewing and organising legal documents and property correspondence.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other relevant parties.
• Maintaining accurate client files and ensuring all records are kept up to date.
• Monitoring the progress of property transactions and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assisting with the preparation and processing of conveyancing documentation.
• Supporting the team with day-to-day residential property administration.
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in accordance with firm procedures and relevant legal requirements.
Requirements
• Previous residential property or conveyancing experience is essential.
• Experience working within a legal environment, ideally within a residential conveyancing team.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
A professional and client-focused approach.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
