Independent Prescriber (Clinical Pharmacist)

Ormskirk, Lancashire, North West ProfDoc Healthcare Ltd Join a supportive GP practice as an Onsite Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective medicines optimisation and patient-centred care. About the Position: 5 days per week, onsite 3–6 month fixed-term contract £35 per hour Flexible hours, within practice opening times of 08:15–18:15 Use EMIS Web for clinical records, prescribing activity and correspondence Conduct medication reviews and implement medication changes Prepare and action clinical letters Deliver face-to-face patient appointments Work closely with GPs, nurses and the wider practice team to support safe prescribing and improved patient outcomesAbout the Practice: Friendly, experienced and supportive onsite team Busy but professional primary care environment Strong focus on patient care, medicines safety and effective multidisciplinary working Flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balanceWhat We’re Looking For: GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing qualification Confident using EMIS Web Experience completing medication reviews, managing medication changes and processing clinical correspondence Comfortable delivering face-to-face appointments A proactive, organised and collaborative approach to primary care pharmacy  To Apply: You can either submit your application through this site, and it will be forwarded to Tom, or send your CV directly to .
