The Role

As a Graduate Event Sales Executive, you’ll help professionals discover conferences and forums that are relevant to their goals. You’ll manage the sales process from first contact through to securing delegate bookings, developing your confidence in prospecting, consultative selling and relationship management along the way. No previous sales experience is required: structured training and coaching will help you build the skills to succeed, with opportunities to grow your career internally. You’ll work towards monthly targets, celebrate team achievements and may have the opportunity to engage with clients at international event destinations.

• Research prospects and generate leads across a range of B2B industries.
• Cold call potential delegates and build lasting client relationships.
• Explain event value clearly to senior professionals and decision-makers.
• Manage sales conversations from initial outreach through to closing bookings.
• Track progress against monthly targets and contribute to event success.
• Collaborate with colleagues, use coaching and keep developing your sales approach.

• Starting salary of £27,000–£28,000 plus commission, with OTE of £50,000+.

• Clear communication skills and confidence speaking with new people.
• Resilience, organisation and willingness to work towards sales targets.
• 2:1 in any degree
