Regional Sales Manager – Perimeter Security (Southeast & Texas)

Location: Home-based anywhere across the Southeast US or Texas, near a major airport with easy direct flights to Newark (EWR). Field-based role with regional travel by car and plane.

Package: $110k–$140k base plus uncapped commission on revenue. Travel expenses reimbursed. Flexible spending account and health expense reimbursement.

The company

Our client is an established manufacturer of perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) protecting high-security and critical infrastructure sites. Its technology portfolio spans fibre optic acoustic sensing, 3D LiDAR detection, fence-mounted detection and taut-wire systems, sold through a network of integrator partners.

The role

A hunter role building the business across the Southeast and into Texas, reporting to the VP based at the company’s US head office in the New York / New Jersey area.

• Prospect independently to generate meetings, site visits and product demonstrations with commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure end users
• Recruit and develop integrator partners, and build relationships with consultants, specifiers and distributors
• Support qualified opportunities through design, proposal and close
• Educate the market on the technology and position it early on new projects
• Keep the CRM current, take part in weekly pipeline reviews and share market and competitor feedback with leadership
• Spend 2–3+ days a week in the field across the territory, with periodic visits to the New Jersey head office (reimbursed)

What we’re looking for

• A manufacturer background is strongly preferred
• 5+ years’ direct physical security sales experience: PIDS, video, access control or integration
• A proven hunter who builds their own pipeline
• An established network among integrators, consultants and end users in the region
• Based anywhere in the Southeast or Texas, near a major airport with frequent nonstop flights to Newark
• Comfortable with regular regional travel by car and plane
• Strong CRM discipline and KPI focus, and confident delivering technical presentations
