Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lichfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom and support children to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers to support pupils in their learning and development, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment. You will provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, helping children make progress while developing their confidence, resilience and independence.

The Role

• Full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant position
• Based in Lichfield
• Supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range
• Working with individuals and small intervention groups
• Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Patient, proactive and adaptable in their approach
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
