📍 London (2 Days Onsite per Week)
💰 £575/day Inside IR35

We're looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape the future of AI-powered customer experiences within a large, regulated organisation.
This is not a traditional UX role focused on maintaining design systems or optimising existing user journeys. Instead, you'll be helping define how emerging AI capabilities work, behave and interact with customers within a consumer mobile app.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy exploring ambiguous problem spaces, creating new interaction patterns and shaping products where there isn't an established playbook to follow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing AI-powered customer experiences for a consumer mobile application
- Defining conversational and assistant-led interactions
- Creating intuitive interaction patterns for emerging AI capabilities
- Exploring how users discover, access and move between multiple AI-powered experiences
- Building prototypes and concepts to test ideas and influence product direction
- Translating complex propositions into simple, engaging user experiences
- Working closely with Product, Engineering and Research teams to shape future experiences
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer or Interaction Designer
- Proven experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications
- Excellent interaction design and user experience skills
- Strong prototyping capabilities using Figma or similar tools
- Experience working in ambiguity and shaping products from discovery through delivery
- Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to connect journeys, touchpoints and capabilities into a coherent experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Conversational UX or chat-based experiences
- AI Assistant, GenAI or LLM-powered products
- Agentic AI or multi-agent experiences
- Designing new interaction patterns and behaviours
- Experience within Financial Services or other regulated industries
