About the role
Personal Assistant/Support worker required
Location: Epworth
Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 1 day per week during school holidays only, preferably a Tuesday, 8:00am–5:30pm
We are looking for a kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant / Support Worker to provide 1-to-1 support for a 9-year-old boy during the school holidays.
About Him
He enjoys:
• All ball games, including playing with bouncy balls and football
• Going to the park
• Watching Disney and CBeebies
• Trips to Costa and Greggs
• Water activities and being in a swimming pool, although he cannot swim
• Adult interaction and 1-to-1 attention, which brings him lots of enjoyment
Support Needs
• Struggles with verbal communication but has his own ways of communicating
• Likes routine and can become dysregulated if his routine changes
• Requires a high level of 1-to-1 attention and support
• Requires personal care, including support with nappy changes
There is no medication administration required.
Previous experience would be useful but is not essential. A driving licence may be essential depending on where the successful applicant lives.
