Transport and Logistics Administrator

My client is looking for a Transport and Logistics Administrator to join their team; you will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the transport and logistics function. This role would suit someone who is keen to build a career and can commit to a fast paced, rotational shift patten to support the business. This role offers great development and progression for the right person.

Location: Colnbrook, Berkshire

Transport and Logistics Administrator duties:

• Maintain driver compliance and maintenance records
• Liaising with depots, drivers, agencies and internal teams to ensure the efficient movement and utilisation of vehicles across regional depots
• Booking agency drivers, arranging travel, accommodation, coordinating vehicle movements
• Maintaining accurate records across systems such as Optrax and BigChange.
• You monitor and report transport-related costs, including leasing, agency, travel and fuel expenditure and reducing unnecessary costs where feasible
• You will support invoice reconciliation and provide regular updates to the Team
• They will be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, maintain accurate records, track costs and produce clear reports.

Transport and Logistics Administrator attributes: 

• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Experience with transport or fleet
• Team player
