Commis Chef – SB2503

A newly renovated Country Inn is seeking a Commis Chef to take on this role and ensure that high standards and a good reputation is maintained at this popular gastro pub. The kitchen of the property is well equipped for the team of 6 chefs to provide high quality gastro food for the 70 cover restaurant. The food will be made with fresh ingredients locally sourced as much as possible, and will consist of seasonally changing menus, along with daily specials, combining traditional and modern dishes with a twist. The restaurant serves lunches, evening meals and has a special Sunday lunch menu. This is a very busy venue especially during the summer months as there is a large beer garden. Full training will be given but it is important that you are able to work well under pressure.

Requirements:

A Commis Chef who can show some experience of working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a committed chef who has a mature approach and is wanting to receive training to advance their career.
