Support Worker

Salisbury, Wiltshire Leo Recruits Key Responsibilities * Provide person-centred support with daily living activities and personal care. * Support individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities. * Administer medication safely in accordance with prescribed instructions, training and organisational policies. * Assist with meals, mobility, hygiene and daily routines as required. * Promote independence, dignity, choice and social inclusion. * Monitor and report changes in individuals' health and wellbeing. * Maintain accurate care records and medication administration records. * Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection control and confidentiality procedures. * Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals. Mandatory Requirements * Valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK. * Care Certificate. * Mental Health Awareness training/certificate. * Learning Disabilities Awareness training/certificate. * Medication Administration training/certificate and proven competency. * Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service subscription. * Previous experience in a relevant health and social care role is preferred. * Good communication skills and a compassionate, professional attitude.
